The highest point of the island (567 meters) is located between Pyrgos and Kamari. The name of the Mountain is Prophet Elias (Prophet Elijah), with comes from the Monastery of the same name on the top. From this point of view, you will enjoy a striking view over the whole island, from the soft agricultural plains to the hilltop village of Oia.
